Georgia native, Katie Deal has performed to sold out houses across the US and Canada. Best known for her authentic country sound, Katie was named Georgia Country Artist of the Year in 2016 and was honored by the Atlanta Country Music Hall of Fame. She has opened shows for country legends Marty Stuart, John Conlee, Sammy Kershaw, Collin Raye, B.J. Thomas and Country Family Reunion (Bill Anderson, Jeannie Seely, T.G. Sheppard, Johnny Counterfit). Katie opened for Colt Ford at The Masters in Augusta and sang The National Anthem at the Milwaukee Brewers Stadium. She also unexpectedly performed with Ms. Loretta Lynn in 2016 and was the featured entertainer for GPB's Gala Event honoring Brenda Lee in 2019.​

 

Katie has written with hit and soon-to-hit Nashville songwriters: Bruce Burch (cuts by Reba McEntire), Amanda Colleen Williams (cuts by Garth Brooks), Mark Lyle, April Rooks and Durand Robinson. She has performed with top Nashville artists: Brandon Bush (Train & Sugarland), Kristian Bush (Sugarland) and John Driskell Hopkins (Zac Brown Band). For many years, Katie performed as a guest vocalist with the Atlanta Pops Orchestra and Country River Band. She is a featured act with Michael Ingersoll's Artists Lounge Live based out of Chicago and can often be found singing with her good friend Kurt Johnston (former steel guitarist for Bon Jovi) at wineries and smaller venues. Katie's original music can be found on streaming platforms and cuts can be licensed through BMI.

Katie caught the theater bug in college and holds Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre Performance from Piedmont University. She is a proud member of Actor's Equity Association and has been a featured actress in two major motion films (LET'S BE COPS and BILLY LYNN'S LONG HALFTIME WALK), numerous commercials, regional theatre productions and touring concerts. She produces her own theatrical concerts, which have toured internationally, and is co-creator of several theatrical concerts, including CLASSIC NASHVILLE ROADSHOW with Jason Petty (retired). She is an amateur playwright/author, an advocate for mental health awareness and suicide prevention, and a staunch supporter of animal rescue and kindness to others.
